Our hosts, Clive and Annie, were very friendly and encouraged us to explore their beautiful garden and the wood beyond it. Bowden Croft is spacious, homely and very comfortable with everything you’d expect to be in a holiday cottage – and some things you wouldn’t. They left us a lovely welcome pack with homemade produce and a bottle of wine which was very generous. Some very interesting books too.
