Chillington has a village shop and post office. The nearest pub is in the village of Stokenham which is a 5 minute drive. Slapton Sands and nature reserve is about a 5 minute drive or forty minute walk down to the beach with farm shop and brewery near Torcross village, which is en route. The South West Coast path is easy to join at several local points and Start Point lighthouse is definitely worth a visit.
The market town of Kingsbridge town is about a 10 minute drive and the idyllic town of Salcombe is another 10 minute drive.
