3 Coastguard Cottages is a newly refurbished coastguard cottage which enjoys views over Burgh Island and Challaborough beach. The South West Coast Path is 100m away, runs East towards Bigbury-on-Sea and West towards the River Erme. The beach is literally on your doorstep along with a local shop and a private parking space nearby.
The cottage has been beautifully decorated with attention to detail, everything you could possibly wish for in a holiday home. The front terrace with outdoor furniture on a spacious decking has views of the beach and Burgh Island.

The cottage suits up to 6 adults, or a family group of up to 7 people. The bunk room provides a double bed with a single top bunk which is only suitable for a child (over 6 years old).

The cottage is a short walk from the beach and enjoys a fabulous view of Burgh Island. The south Devon village of Challaborough is a popular favourite with families enjoying a coastal holiday. Small and well located, this village is close to Bigbury and Bantham and it enjoys the convenience of a local shop, fish & chip shop and the Parkdean resort club house is open to visitors throughout the summer months. A surf shop with hire facility’s gives guests the opportunity to participate in water sports from the local beach. We recommend The Jouney’s End a great local pub in the neighbouring village of Ringmore.

The cottage is a piece of heaven with beautiful spacious rooms, extremely comfortably beds, a gorgeous kitchen and bathroom where you will find everything you need. The ambience is so cozy and relaxing . It’s so wonderful to come home to at the end of a day of sight seeing. The large decking outside is absolutely wonderful where you can drink your coffee and have a meal whilst looking at the mesmeric and beautiful sea and the glorious and enrapturing sunsets. I have come home feeling so inspired and refreshed! This place is outstanding. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back there! ”
