Bowden Retreats is perfect for those guests looking to holiday as a group but enjoy their own private living space. Bowden Wood is a stylish Skandi lodge, appointed to a high standard with terraces off the bedrooms and the lounge area. A lawned garden is ideal for those with children and garden furniture, including sun loungers provides a relaxing space for everyone to enjoy. A BBQ for those heady summer evenings will bring your group together for meals alfresco.
There are two bedrooms, one a King with ensuite shower room and a twin bedroom plus family bathroom. The snug has a sofa bed which is available with bedding provided.
Bowden Croft is a traditional Georgian terrace, attached to the main manor house. It has a private entrance and enjoys a garden room with double doors leading onto the sun terrace, providing the perfect place for relaxing and dining.
There is a double bedroom on the ground floor with a shower room next door. On the first floor the master bedroom can be either a Super King or split into twin beds. There is also a family bathroom next door.
Both properties are welcome to use the tennis court and the EV charger can be used by arrangement with the property owner.
Bowden is a small hamlet near the naval town of Dartmouth. It is set in rolling countryside and is part of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The hamlet itself is quaint and picturesque, with charming traditional Devonian architecture and surrounded by a vast expanse of lush green fields, woodlands, and meadows offering plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like walking, hiking, cycling.
Blackpool Sands is a mile away, a relaxed saunter through the country lanes and a swim in the sea is the perfect way to spend a day. There is a restaurant with takeaway options and plenty of parking for those wanting to take their beach gear.
Dartmouth is a short drive away, with it’s boutique shops, cafes and boat trips, this town is picture perfect and provides plenty of entertainment for all the family.
Salcombe is a 45 minute drive, the market town of Kingsbridge 20 minutes and Dartmoor can be reached in less than an hour.
